Caroline Brent-Director

Caroline is an internationally experienced senior HR professional having lived and worked in various countries around the world. She has held both operational and strategic HR roles in private sector FMCG and Manufacturing businesses.


Caroline is an HR strategist and a specialist in Strategic Workforce planning, Employer Branding and in preparing employers and talent for a digital future. Caroline runs her own business and is an experienced conference chairman and speaker on subjects including the use of big data in SWFP and Employer Branding, the future workforce and in taking HR strategy into action.


Caroline also works with large corporate businesses as well as start-ups and niche professionals in the future talent sector, on employee engagement activities and in the HR management of acquisitions and mergers.
She also experienced in driving company learning and development transformations and is a fully trained and qualified coach and mentor. She also has been a Manufacturing Manager and a full-time trades union official as well as a designer of vocational education programs.

  • Previously responsible for in SCA/Essity for CSR for 3 years.
  • Introduced effective GRI measurement globally and upgraded CSR data in sustainability report to maintain and improve rating A+ required at the time
  • Global CSR strategy linked to 6 key pillars supported by code of conduct, community relations, employee relations, human rights, health safety, business practice and data privacy
  • Analysed rating institutes and organizations and set  targets including  continual and consistent FTSE4GOOD and Dow Jones, ethisphere for example as well as member global compact
  • Introduced CSR audits
  • Worked to introduce supplier standards and sustainability audits
  • Moved to employer branding and SWFP as this is big driver of diversity change.
